When is your doctor here?
ATTENTION!! We will be changing our appointment system from Monday 4th March to improve access for you the patient.
With this new system you can now have a telephone consultation to discuss your health concerns with your GP on the day of your choice!
Once your GP has spoken to you, they will either manage your concerns over the phone or offer you a face to face appointment on the same day.
How Does This Work?
There will be 2 ways to book a GP consultation
First Way: Book a telephone consultation online 24hrs in advance using patient onlineservices. The GP will then call you within 15 minutes from your chosen time slot. This should make things easier for you as you no longer need to call the surgery to book an appointment.
Second Way: Call the surgery from 8am on the day you want an appointment, your telephone appointment will be booked and you will be asked to wait for the GP to call you back. We also have an automated booking system that you can use to book, check or cancel your appointment. This can be accessed by calling the main surgery number and selecting Option 1
As a lot more appointments will now be offered each day, this means you will get to speak to your GP on the day you want to been seen
If you don’t have access to online services please bring proof of ID into the practice so we can set you up for this. Access to online services will also enable you to do things like request your repeat prescriptions, etc.
